Communication truly is limitless
Are you just like someone who usually finds it challenging when trying to talk with other people? Or someone who is having a little trouble expressing their ideas through the use of words? Have you ever thought of yourself with things like, “How can I make myself improve in speaking or writing?” or “Are there any other way that I can do to convey what I like in my mind? If so, I feel you — very much. It is the reason why I want to share my experience in this matter. I know that it is not just me who is in this kind of situation, and I want you to know that you are not alone.
As we all know, we can see a lot of people everywhere or even just in our circle of friends, one or two of them can be great in keeping a conversation alive without letting it to be boring. Others also can write up their thoughts well through the use of beautiful words or using straightforward but meaningful sentences. Some people say writing or speaking is a skill, which means we can learn to dot it. What others say is that it is their gift or talent because it just seems so natural for them to be able to do those things effortlessly. Whether it is their skill or their talent, what I can say is I admire all of them.
Okay, but wait — how about us? How are we non-writers or non-speakers can successfully deliver our thoughts towards others? As I have said earlier, being good in those aspects can be learned over time. You may choose to venture yourself into mastering the skill of being able to write out your ideas or voice your opinions. Lookup for things that could help improve your writing or speaking techniques. You may also seek some support from people that you think could guide you more. Your family, friends, or even your teachers could help you by making them your critics. If they ever say that what you did is not good, take that as a step for improving your skill. Practice is what they say.
But what if you still think that you aren’t good enough with all the efforts you have made? Or maybe you are really just not into writing or speaking? Those two things can be classified as skills or talent, right? Well, how about we seek our unique abilities? Writing or speaking is not just the only form of communication. We can still convey our message non-verbally. Your gesture, facial expressions are just some examples. A picture could tell a thousand words. A dance could enchant you what the dancer feels as he or she moves, even without music.
It is the reason why I ventured myself into drawing or graphics designing — to convey a message effectively using visual representations. What I would like to say here is, just find what you love doing for communication is everything we do.
